These terms govern your use of the Rico Clinic website and the treatments we provide. By booking a treatment or using this site, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act, which applies to our services and which cannot be waived by agreement.

Our services
We provide scalp micropigmentation (SMP), laser tattoo removal, SMP and micropigmentation removal, and scar camouflage. These are cosmetic and aesthetic procedures. They are not medical treatments, we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and nothing we say is medical advice. If you have a health concern about your scalp or skin, please consult a physician.
Consultation and suitability
Consultations are free and carry no obligation. At consultation we will give you an honest assessment of what is realistically achievable in your case, an estimated number of sessions, and a price. We may decline to treat you where we do not believe a treatment is suitable or safe for you.
You must tell us about relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies and previous treatments. Some conditions and medications make treatment unsuitable or require you to obtain your doctor’s clearance first. Withholding this information may put your safety and your result at risk.
Results
Results vary from person to person and depend on your skin, your hair loss pattern, how you heal and how closely you follow pre- and post-treatment instructions. Scalp micropigmentation is a gradual process built over several sessions; the result improves progressively rather than appearing complete after the first session.
We do not guarantee a specific outcome, and any estimate of the number of sessions is an estimate rather than a commitment. We will always tell you honestly what we expect to be achievable before you commit to anything.
Bookings, deposits and cancellations
Appointments are booked through Square. Multi-session treatments normally require a deposit to secure your booking; the deposit is applied to the price of your treatment.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us at least 12 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to someone else. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may mean we ask for payment in advance for future bookings.
Pricing and payment
Prices are confirmed at your consultation and quoted before any treatment begins. Taxes are additional where applicable. We accept cash, Interac and credit card, and payment for multi-session treatments may be split across sessions. Third-party financing may be available; any financing agreement is between you and the finance provider, on their terms, and we are not a party to it.
Aftercare and your responsibilities
We will give you preparation and aftercare instructions before and after each session. Following them materially affects your result and your safety. We are not responsible for outcomes caused by failure to follow the instructions we provide, by concealing relevant medical information, or by treatment performed elsewhere.
Where a touch-up is included in your treatment package, its scope and timeframe will be confirmed with you in writing.
Photographs
We photograph the treatment area to plan your treatment and record its progress. These photographs are part of your clinical record. We will not publish or share any photograph of you — on our website, on social media or anywhere else — unless you give us separate written consent for that specific use. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
Website
The content of this website is provided for general information. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a guarantee of any result. We may change our services, prices and content at any time. The content, images and branding on this site belong to Rico Clinic and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for bodily injury caused by our fault, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded — including under the Consumer Protection Act. Subject to that, we are not liable for outcomes affected by matters outside our control, including your healing response, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or treatment carried out by others.

How we handle your personal information, including health information and photographs, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have jurisdiction.
